Aftercare- Second Skin
-Leave the second skin on for three to four days.
-Remove the second skin in the shower, by pulling the edge of the adhesive away from itself. And letting water run over the tattoo.
-Once off gently rub all the plasma and ink off the tattoo with your fingers and antibacterial soap.
-Pat the tattoo dry with a clean paper towel or air dry, and apply a small layer of tattoo ointment or non scented lotion.
-Continue to apply lotion three to five times a day until the tattoo is fully healed.
If the skin around the adhesive is red or irritated remove the second skin.
If the second skin rolls up past the tattoo, take the second skin off.
Do not pick or itch the tattoo.
Aftercare- Traditional Healing
-After the tattoo I will apply ointment and a wrap over the tattoo which can be kept on for up to 3 hours.
-When you take the wrap off gently wash your tattoo with antibacterial soap, with your fingers gently rub off any plasma or ink.
-Pat the tattoo dry with a clean paper towel, or let air dry.
-Then apply a small amount of tattoo ointment or non scented lotion over the tattoo
-Wash and apply lotion 3 times a day to the tattoo for a week.
-Once the tattoo is peeling a dry apply lotion more frequently until fully healed.
Do not scratch or pick at the tattoo.
Tattoo Prep
Come to your tattoo appointment well rested, hydrated, and with a full belly.
Bring your ID, cash or card, a jacket, comfy clothes that allow access to the area you want tattooed, and anything else you may want to be more comfortable. Like a phone charger, blanket, snacks, a book, pillow, headphones.
